Company History
Concept Entertainment is a Portland-based company that owns and operates eight unique restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. For over 25 years, Concept Entertainment has planned, developed, and operated creative concepts with a continuing emphasis on providing great guest experiences.
The principal members of Concept Entertainment are John Plew, Russ Teising, Dan Lenzen and Jeff Plew. These four partners provide the experience, knowledge and vision that have made the company what it is today while creating a foundation for future growth. They have been acknowledged as leaders in the entertainment industry by the National Nightclub & Bar Association and have been asked to share their knowledge with others in seminars and talks.
Concept Entertainment provides a flexible, progressive and energetic management style that inspires over 300 employees in eight stores. With their guidance and vision, Concept Entertainment has helped to pioneer the practice of rehabilitating Portland’s historic properties, which has contributed to the restoration of Portland neighborhoods over the past 25 years. Plans are currently in progress for development and expansion of new properties and neighborhoods in the next few years.
Concept Entertainment has developed positive relationships with various neighborhood associations including the City of Portland, Portland Police Department, the Oregon Liquor Control Commission, POVA, Oregon Lottery Commission, Oregon Restaurant Association, and other regulatory agencies and organizations. These relationships are invaluable to our success as a company.
